Personally I believe that teenagers should be careful if they want to have sex at early ages because there are all types of sexually transmitted diseases and it only takes one time to catch it during unprotected sex with multiple sex partners. Also parents need to talk to their children more often about sex because parents should be concerned about their sons and daughters; mainly young females because they can get pregnant at an early age and sometimes can pass the disease onto their child which is not good for the baby. Sometimes young teens are being forced to have sex at early ages and sometimes they’re being sexually molested or raped and that can leave them scared for life. The reasons behind this is because some young females like to dress like their older woman for example they might wear leggings with a shirt or a drop top shirt and leggings, also they would put on lipstick or lip-gloss and make-up so that they would look older and they could attractive to older men. Teenagers get involved in things that they shouldn’t be doing like smoking, drinking without permission from their mothers and fathers. Also having multiple sex partners can make you look bad and have a bad reputation in your life for example people might call you a “whore”,”smut” things dealing with having sex often. But when girls do it it’s bad on their part but when boys are having multiple sex partners they get respect from their homies.
Teens nowadays are getting pregnant because they are jumping head first into having sex first off I think younger females have older male partners so they are being pressured into it I think it really shouldn’t be a big deal if the teens are using protection however it really does depend on the teens age if it is appropriate or not I think so girls want to do it because most of their friends are no longer virgins and they feel they should just get it over with because everybody else is doing it I also feel that teens nowadays are just doing it because they are too fast to grow up so may even consider it to be “cool”.
ReplyDeleteIf the young adult turns 19 they may not consider themselves as young anymore or may not consider themselves teenagers and feel they are old enough to do what they want or do what they feel is right. many of these teens may not have the proper home training and they often just go off doing whatever they want whenever they feel and they don’t think about the possible risk of getting pregnant or catching a disease and other couples think just because they love each other it is ok.
I think having multiple sex partners is disgusting but some studies show only 33 percent of kids in the study had had sex by the 9th grade, but 31 percent said that most or all of their friends had had sex. I think most girls should think about getting married before they jump into having sex. Some parents believe that talking about sex will lead teens to have sex. In fact, research shows that teens who have talked with their parents about sex are more likely to postpone sex and to use birth control when they do begin. The United States has one of the highest birth rates among developed countries. Teens often believe that all their friends are having sex. This belief puts pressure on teens to have sex. Lastly if teenagers take proper percation then having sex should not be issue for them.
Teens and sex has become a major issue in today society. Back in the day, people didn’t really hear much about teenage sex; however, in today society, teenage sex has become an issue that scare parents and adults. Sometimes, adults make teens look bad because of the negative things they hear about teens such as drugs, having sex, violence, etc. I do believe that teens having sex is not good especially if it’s unprotected sex. With unprotected sex, many STD’s and an unwanted pregnancy can happen. However, I also believe that it’s not my choice to say if this is right or not because it’s based on the teenager decision if they want to have sex early.
ReplyDeleteI say that this is not my choice because the teenager has to go through the conflicts that he/she may face. I also believe that it really come down to the choice if the teenager is ready to have sex or not. I believe that teens are eager to have sex for many reasons. One of those reasons is peer pressure. Many teens are pressure now a day to “fit in” in their school or just in society. In society, many teenagers are having sex and other teens want to have sex just because teens are having sex. Another reason is to make the relationship “right” if they are in a relationship with their girlfriend/boyfriend. Most teens want the other person to stay with them and the only way for him/her to stay is to have sex with them. This leads me to my next reason why teens want to have sex which is love. Most teens think they “love” the other person and they want to show their love. To them, the only way to show that he/she loves them is to have sex with them.
Unprotected sex can cause an unwanted pregnancy. This can put more problems and conflicts to them such as wanting to go to school, having friends, having a job, taking care of the child, etc. STD’s can cause long-time health issues such as not being able to have child for example. It goes to show that what a teen does, can affect their adult life. In conclusion, teens wanting to have sex for many reasons such as peer pressure love, society, and keeping their relationship right can determine their future.
Personally I do not believe that its okay for teens to have sex at an early age or multiple sex partners for that matter.
ReplyDeleteMany Teenagers feel that having sex make them an adlut which is absouletly false. Especially when teens begin to have sex at a young age they tend to get a little to in over their hads. Meaning that they may think in their minds that they know what they are doing but truthfully they are simply naive and still immature.
As far as having multiple sex partners is concerned that is definetly not okay in my opinion. The reason why is because at the Age of 13-17 why SHOULD you have multiple sex partners ? There is nothing decent about that especilly if you happen to be a female.
On the other hand everyone is different and no one person thinks alike, so there are kids as young as 13 who may believe practicing such acts are okay. But they rarely ever thin of the consequences to follow the things that they do. Such as pregnancy or even sexually transmitted dieseases, & if they have mutliple sex partners there is no way in telling whom they got it from. Also they would just be giving it to others.
Sexual activity is a very sensitive topic because there are various opinions about the age limit and frequencies that it should be done. There is no set age limit but I do not believe it is okay for teens under the age of sixteen to be sexually active because most teens under this age are not mature enough to be involved in relationships and sexual activity. At such a tender age like thirteen children should not want to be engaged in intercourse but they should have other things on their young minds. When you are thirteen you have not even advanced to high school yet to have sex education classes so you are not educated enough to know how to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases and other risks of having sex like becoming pregnant. Individuals who are sixteen and older may be ready to engage in sexual activity because they most likely have already the “sex talk” with their parents and have already taken a health or sex education class. At this age the hormones of teens are also raging which could also influence their likeliness of having sex. Teens sixteen and older shouldn’t have sex unless they are in a committed relationship for a generous amount of time or until they feel they are ready and are not pressured into doing it. Children under sixteen should be more focused on school than boyfriends or girlfriends and having sex. Sex is just a distraction that can run them off the course of a bright future. All teens should think long, hard, and wisely before having sex with someone because their partner may just be trying to take advantage of them and does not want to become physical because they have strong feelings but for other reasons. If teens, any age decide to have sex they should always use protection to prevent the female from becoming pregnant with an unwanted baby and or the spread of an STD from one partner to the other. If teens having sex are not going to be wise and cautious about it they should stay virgins until mirage.

ReplyDeleteIf I could pick famous person to hang out with I would choose a group called Big Time Rush, we would hang out in their studio, hotel and party with them. I would hang out with Big Time Rush because they feel like cool kids on and off the screen, like their music and I would like to know what inspire them to write their songs and I also want to know what they do off screen beside write music with my own two eyes. Big Time Rush is a talented group of boys and I can get to relate to some of their songs, like the song Boyfriend, it is about a boy wanting to be a girl’s boyfriend and sometimes I feel that way about a certain girl that I would like to date. The boy’s in the group names are Kendall, James, Logan and Carlos, hanging out with them can make me learn a lot more about their taste in girls, personality, style, what type of parties and more . Big Time Rush is a nickelodeon show with the same four boy and I would also like to know are they similar to their characters in the show like James on the show spends a lot of time on his appearance and he gets most of the girls, Carlos is wild spirited and he is not afraid to try wild things, Logan is smart and focus on the books and Kendall would stand up to almost anyone but is a nice person. Hanging out with Big Time Rush can help me to meet people that would boost my business skills. Hanging out with Big Time Rush would sound like a great idea
No I do not feel that it’s all right to have sex at a young age because first of all they are not ready to have sex and they do not know what things can happen during sex and they can get into multiple problems that could affect their lives forever like getting pregnant and catch diseases. Teens are having sex for different reasons like to seem mature, do it because other people are doing it or because their boyfriend are telling them the things they like to have sex. Boys need to realize that having sex with a girl when you are not ready is not cool no matter what anyone says because would it be cool to be a teen father or have a disease that could kill you and girls need to learn that it is not good to use your body like it is a piece of trash, I’m not saying that teens should have sex at a young age but if they feel that they are ready then they make sure their boyfriend does want you just for the sex and make sure their girlfriend does not want to have sex just to seem cool.

ReplyDeleteIf I had the opportunity to spend time with any famous person, I would choose to “hang out” with Oprah. Oprah is one of the most beloved talk show hosts in daytime TV history, and she’s changed the lives of millions all over the world. In our country alone, she has inspired and gave voices to all the people that took time out of their life to listen to her. She followed her dreams and never let anyone come between her and her goals. She is one of the most successful and richest women in the word, and she made it that far by only being herself. She has determination, grace, and not to mention gratitude for all those that helped her along the way. I would spend time with Oprah because I feel that I could learn really important lessons from her, and she can help me find my “calling”. One of the people who inspires me the most is my own mother, but Oprah inspired my mother to take charge of her own life and go after what she wanted. Oprah has also inspired me a great deal, and I would be honored to have the opportunity to spend time with her while she’s in her element. To be able to travel the world with her, and see firsthand the amazing things she does for others would definitely be considered one of the most exciting experiences of my life if I had the chance.

Do I think that teens should have sex at a young age? No. Can I stop teens from doing what they desire? No. Can I show my fellow teenagers the consequences of doing so? Yes I can, but will they listen? For generations, one problem for the parents of teenagers is underage sexual activity. Parents are not able to look after their children at all hours of the day, so teens take the time when their parents are not around and indulge in sexual activities with each other. Personally, I do not think teens should have sex at an early age, or even at all during their teenage years. Sex can not only be harmful to the body physically, but it prevents one from getting certain things done and can hinder the mental stability of a teenager. If a teenager was to have sex at age sixteen and then become a parent, that teen would have a less likely chance of going to college, or much less finishing high school. Lack of a college education, let alone a high school diploma would lead to a high chance of unemployment, and that teen would grow up not being able to provide for their child. A lot of teens have been denied the opportunities offered to them by the consequences they suffer when they choose to have sex at a young age. If fewer teens had sex, then maybe high school dropout rates would decrease and the college graduation rate would increase. A chain of events could happen if just one change is made.
This blog is responding to the teen and sex at an early age dilemma. I do not believe that kids should be having unprotected sex AT ALL. When you have unprotected sex you put yourself and your partner at risk. You also put your partner’s partner at risk. So many people at are at risk when you decide to have sex without using protection. That is also a very selfish act. You are only thinking about yourself when you decide to sleep around with multiple partners without using a condom. I don’t think it is wrong to have multiple partners if you use a condom. That way you are being safe while still enjoying yourself. I think you are endangering many people when you have sex without a condom. The diseases that can be spread from unprotected sex are abundant and continue to increase every day. Some of these diseases aren’t even noticeable. Having unprotected sex can lead to getting stds. Examples of stds would be Crabs(Public Louse), Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea. One cans also contract and sti which is a sexually transmitted infection. They are basically the same thing, but if you get a STD it could turn fatal if not treated. That is probably the thing that upsets me about young kids having unprotected sex. There are many people being affected when people do not use a condom. People’s lives are at stake when irresponsible kids decide to have sex. Not only can STDs be spread but the kids can also get pregnant. These kids are barely old enough to take care of themselves and to bring a child into this world that they have to take care of. That is just selfish and the children they will bore will not have a chance at having the good life they deserve.
ReplyDeleteIf I could hangout with any famous person I would hangout with Michael Jordan. I would hangout with Michael because he is one of the best athletes in the world. They are many famous athletes like Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Michael Phelps, etc… Michael was such a good basketball player, players of our time say that when they were young they wanted to be just like Mike. When ever you watch him play a game he will always doing something amazing. Another reason Michael was one of the greatest athletes is that no other basketball player could of hold defense to stop him, Michael always found a way to get around his defender.
ReplyDeleteI would spend a whole entire day at the gym playing basketball with Michael. I would spend my time like that because basketball is my favorite sport and who wouldn’t want to play ball with the best basketball player in the world. I would ask him different questions to make me a better player. I would also do a little interview on him. I would ask questions like how was his childhood, how much he practices as a kid, and how he worked out his education and basketball. I would also like to know how he came about his sneakers.
I would finally play a one on one with him. Even though Michael Jordan is 47 years old he still has a shoot and a lay up. He may not be as quick and agile as he once was but he barely misses a shoot. If I win, that would be one of the greatest accomplishments I will have. I wonder how it feels to beat the greatest basketball players in the world?
It is true that teens nowadays at an early age are having sex. Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 are and do have multiple sex partners, and it is mainly unprotected sex. I do not think it is our decision whether teens should or should not have sex at an early age. But there is nothing you can do about it. This is a new generation and I think that no matter how many times you tell a child sex is not good, or try to stress the fact that adultery (sex without being married) that they must wait until they are married means absolutely nothing. At the end of the day the teenagers are going to do what they want, but the best way for adults or older more mature people to do, to try and prevent teens from catching diseases or getting pregnant young is by, supplying condoms and stress the fact about HAVING to use it.

I believe that people look at the wrong aspects in the famous figures they idolize or put up on a high pedestal. If I could hang out with any famous person, it would be Alicia Keys. Alicia keys is my ultimate idol. She has inspired me in so many ways.she is vey positive with her work and she has come very far in life. She was once poor and grew up with negative influences all around her but yet she managed to get through it all. Now with her fame,she uses it for good. She gives back to society and charities, she also travels the world helping those in third world countries and being there for those young women in need. She has rarely ever had bad publicity and her music is true. If we were to hangout, I would suggest that we sit down and write a song together and then record it. I would love to do this with her because her music has such meaning to it. I read her book and she writes beautiful poetry and I feel she could help me with my poetry. I also like to sing so when we record together I would be doing something I love to do. This would be the best thing to ever happen to me because it is a dream of mine.

ReplyDeleteMany adults may think that because they are providing condoms for the teenagers, then that means they are pushing them to go out and have sex. That is not the impression they want to make and that is not the impression most teens take in. Besides, if the parent(s) or adult don’t provide condoms then someone most of the time will. If I was in the adult position I would feel the same way, but I still would provide for my child, because I prefer protected sex rather then unprotected sex.

ReplyDeleteFirst off, responding to James Singleton's blog,I feel that it is the teen that is engaging in sexual activity business to be doing the thing's they are doing. It's not for anyone to think its wrong or right because they are all at certain ages that they know rather to make the right or wrong decisions in their life. By teens having sex, they are putting themselves in the position of being at risk of certain consequences to their actions. Since they feel that they are grown enough to be having sex then they will be old enough to own up to their mistakes if something goes wrong. Teens that are participating in unprotected sex i also still their business and i have no right to judge. We have to let these teens make these mistakes so they could learn for themselves in the long run and that goes also towards the teens with multiple sex partner's. Even though they may tend to get pregnant and many other things like diseases which are very bad and will affect them in the future, its their choice of what they want to do with their lives. I believe that they are mostly just confused and do not know how to control their hormones causing them to engage in sex. If their going to do it though it really should be done responsibly but yet you cannot tell many of these teens anything because they mostly do not really care about what they are doing at their young age.
Now responding to Marvin's "Hangout Session" blog, If i was to be able to hang out with any famous person i would have to choose Meagan Good. We would go to a spa relax and talk about our lives, experiences in it, and give one another some good advice. I would choose to do this with her because shes my idol and i would love to learn more about her. We have a lot of things in common and shes a wonderful person as viewed of her on TV and many movies. Shes an actress which is kind of one of the thing's i want to be in life.

ReplyDeleteIf i could hang out with any famous person it would be Cassie. I would hang out with Cassie because she inspired me to Shave Half Of My Head. I Would go get a Haircut and shop with Cassie because those are things i like about her ( hair and Fashion ). Cassie has a unique style that caught my eye recently when she shaved her head. My first thought was "Why would she do this?".
As time passed i began to think that it was unique and when i tryed it i loved it on myself. So i personally would love to spend a day with cassie to ask her why she chose to do the things she did, who inspired her and was she nervous when she first shaved her head.

I dont think its right for teens to have sex at an early age but who am i to tell someone they are not ready to become sexually active. Its not right to have multiple sex partners especially if you are having unprotected sex with multiple people. When you have unprotected sex with multiple people you are putiing you and multiple others at risk to catch a Sexually transmitted disease. Many Std's show no signs so you dont always know that you have them, but they do become dangerous and deadly overtime without treatment. If your a teen who doesnt get tested for STD's then your a teen who doesnt need to be sexually active. If you dont care about your body then its obvious you wouldnt care about anybody else's body. Another reason is that if your having unprotected sex you should be ready to take responsibility for what comes with your actions. If your not ready to have a baby then you should be a person that doesnt have unprotected sex. Many teenagers arent even aware of the diseases they can possibly catch and carry. There aere muultiple reasons why a teenager should not have sex but nobody has any right to tell the next person not to do what they think they are ready for.

I strongly do not believe teens should be having sex, especially the younger teens. I don’t think teens are mature enough to have sex and are not fully aware of the dangers of sex. One of the biggest reasons teens should not have sex is because of the chance of becoming pregnant. I believe someone should only have a child if they are economically and emotionally fit to have a child. Teenagers are not fit to have children because a majority of them do not have the money to take care of a child. Also most of the time they are still in school, having a child causes them to drop out. Most of these teenagers don’t have anyone to watch their child and unfortunately these kids can become a burden to them. Also a teenager having a Child does not give the teenager enough time to live there life. When you’re a teenager you want to hang out with your friends and have fun. Overall I just strongly believe that teens can’t handle sex and should not be having sex. More and more teens are having kids and if this percentage keeps on happening, what will come of our world? If teenagers absolutely believe that they can’t wait and they must have sex they should at least protect themselves by using a condom. They should also know about their partners’ background with sexual activities and if they have any diseases. Also teenagers shouldn’t have sex because they are not adults. Emotionally I don’t think their bodies are ready for it. Most importantly most teenagers are not on their own and they do support themselves financially and are not on their own, so until that day comes they should focus on other things that are important such as school, having fun(without sex) and developing qualities that will help them when you get older. I don’t believe teenagers should ever rush into sex, as of now that it’s not important. Live, laugh, love and enjoy life.
