This is a new generation than our parents. More teens are doing adult things such as drug use, sexual activities, pregnancy, etc. More teen girls between the ages 13-16 are becoming more sexually active. There are multiple reasons for this.
One reason is that teens might go through problems at home such as family issues. Most parents today are single parents or their parents have got a divorce. The child may not feel love by their parents and they find love in the wrong places in this case sexual activities. That teen might feel lonely and this can lead to two things. Those two things are having sexual intercourse and/or trying to become pregnant. In my opinion, I don't think teens should have sex until they are about 18 years old because there is many risks and danger having sex at a young age. A teen is making a big mistake having sex because teens can get a STD, pregnant, and might regret having sex with the person. This are things that if you have an education and an adult, you have a better way dealing with these problems. Another reason is that teens might be in "love" with their partner and decide to have sex with their partner have said, "If you love me, you will have sex with me." This is such a lie to me because they just use the girl/boy just to brag about it to their friends or just to get something. Teens think they are really in "love" and find out the hard way that the person didn't love them. It's a hard lesson to get however, teens need to know. The last reason is that teens want to build their self-esteem or get attention that they don't receive from their friends, family, etc. They may feel that they are not good enough for anybody so they look for love in the wrong places. Also, they may want to love somebody which can be the person they are having sex with or a child. In conclusion, more teens are become sexually active and ending up being pregnant. There are many reason which include their partner wanting to have sex with them because the teen "love" them, self-esteem issues, and family issues. There are many more reasons why teens want to have sex. I'm not saying it bad for teens to have sex, however, they need to know the results from having sex if they are really ready. It's up to the teenager decision and I hope they make the right choice.
I think girls between the ages of 13 and 16 are becoming more and more sexually active because they are influenced by it from their parents and friends, or they want to fit in with the crowd and try it for themselves but not knowing the consequences behind all of it, either they end up pregnant or become prostitutes and start selling their bodies at early ages, or get an STD or AIDS disease. Parents are not aware of any of these things because they are not taking time out to talk to their children.
These teenage girls between the ages of 13-16 are also becoming young mothers due to being sexually active at early ages. The outcome of this is that they drop out of school, give the baby up for adoption, or struggle to take care of their child. I believe that no one is taking the time out to talk to these young girls about sex and how it can be very dangerous in your life. But most young girls want to do what they feel like doing because they are so grown and nasty little girls. Some people out there that make organizations or help out at clinics for young teenage mothers are doing the right thing to help guide the young girls about early motherhood. It’s a big responsibility and they need to learn more about it, if they want to disobey their parents and become sexually active and they don’t use protection then that you have to raise your child on your own.

I can’t really say why girls are becoming more and more sexually active because everyone has there own reasons. But I believe that most teenage girls are more sexually active because of peer pressure, attention, influence of drugs, wanting to feel grown up, and the images portrayed today. Like if boys want to get a girl they would easy play the guilt card to make them feel like they have too. Or even friends could say your lame because you haven’t done it yet and that makes you wonder. Other girls have sex for the attention, to feel wanted by boys and to feel “loved” because they’ve been through so much in life and their looking for a way out. Influence of drugs is a big one, drugs make ones mind unstable and with females they become vulnerable and easy to take advantage of. Girls feel the need to grow up fast and sex comes with that. They want to attract older men, and feel more mature. Some even feel like there ready to have kids and fall in love fast when in relationship with boys. Lastly, images today of girls being sex symbols and earning money and fame for it is like a calling and persuasion to young girls who are looking to have more attention. For instance Lil Kim slept her way to the top which made it look okay to young females to get what they wanted or to succeed. So many things these ideas and more could be the reason for this epidemic. It’s all based on the person.
I believe that girls between the ages of 13-16 are becoming more because sexually active mainly because of peer pressure. Many kids these days do things to fit in with others although it may be the wrong crowd to try and fit in with they attempt to anyways. Sex to younger people is something considered "cool" just like smoking,drinking, etc. In this day and age alot of teenagers believe they know whats right versus their elders and so they practice what they want. Also alot of teenagers, female teenagers especially believe that having sex makes them "grown" which is not true at all.
Teenage girls are becoming pregnant more because they allow themselves to be easily manipulated into having sex without protection. Or many just do not care. While others seem to actually want to have a child of their own. The rate in which there are pregnant girls is increasing rapidly but yet society sems to not really take notice. Atleast not enough notice to reach out to the youth. I believe also that there are so many pregnant teens due to the lack of guidance from the adults in their lives. Many may not know because teens have a habit of harboring their feelings but the things people do to them or act towards them effects them although teens give off the impression of not caring.
To improve the rate in which there are pregnant teens i believe that adults need to reach out more. Also i believe that alot of the youths mindset and attitude needs to change. No one person can change that so it takes everyone independently and willingly .. This common factor can only change one by one
I mean teens are getting pregnant not because they want to but by mistake. What teen would want to have a child at that young if they had any sense it their head. I surely don't know why teens have sex at this age. Maybe its because parenting is different and they really don't have time to look after their kids. Or some girls dont think they find love at home so they go to all extents to find it and this includes sexual activity. Some girls may just have sex because they think they are in love with their boyfriends and are just convinced that it's the right thing to do to have sex with someone you love. Some teens have sex because they feel it's not cool to be a virgin, they want to think they are grown women when in actuality they are no where close to being women. Having sex doesn't make anyone cool, but now and in these times it is. Many of the teens of this generation are facing things like parental neglect, child abuse, sexual abuse, and the factor of not having parents at all. Low self esteem is caused by these factors. When their self esteem is low, young women between the ages of 13 and 16 believe that it takes another person to prove their worth or give them the attention they lack. Often times this other person, is a boy. Young women turn to boys to make them feel good about themselves. When having all the material things does not compensate them, girls rely on sex to give them somewhat of a high to their low self esteem. Low self esteem causes people, especially young girls to believe that everyone can see their flaws, and that everyone is against them. When faced with the possibility of being ostracized because of a flaw, girls want to erase that flaw. If the flaw that everyone around her seems to think that being a virgin is a flaw, then that girl will lose her virginity.
Another factor that contributes to underage sex and teenage pregnancy is peer pressure. Although peer pressure ties into low self esteem when it comes to teenage pregnancies and underage sex, it is also its own factor. Often times, the low self esteem of a girl can make her so vulnerable, she will be willing to do anything to raise her self esteem. This vulnerability makes her a primary target for pressured sex. A boy will see that her guard is down, and pressure her into sex. Chances are she will live to regret it, but she was still pressured into it. When teens don’t get the attention they need at home from their parents, they seek attention from somewhere else. The attention they receive results in most of the time a pregnancy, or regret. Parents are not be enforcing rules, and restricting their children from certain things. When the rules are not enforced, and there are no restrictions, then teens will believe that they can do whatever they want.
The pregnancies are always a result of not being careful; the regrets come from bad decisions. If parents will take their place and start enforcing the rules, maybe teens will know the difference between right and wrong. Parents should step in not only to enforce rules, but to make sure their children know how special they are. Worth should only be proven by oneself.

But because this is a new generation more things are coming out and provoking teens into doing adult things, and not just sex, but drugs also. The best thing you can do to prevent a child from getting pregnant is talk to them, because you never know the reason of them not using protection, or how they got pregnant. It can be from the problems at home to the situations (like bullying) inside school or event the neighborhood. The worse thing to do is tell them don’t have sex and it’s a bad thing because they would probably want to go out and experience it for themselves. So The best way for you to talk to the youth is providing for them, but tell them at the same time you’re not giving them the okay to do so. You just want them to be safe.

The rate of teen pregnancy is rising as i see and i feel this is the same reason from what i have said above. Girls not caring but not caring so much that they are not being smart with what they are doing at the same time. This goes for teenage girls who now have sexually transmitted diseases. They aren't being responsible at all. It's one thing for teens between the ages 13 and 16 to be engaging in sexual activity but it's a whole another step and level when they are getting pregnant and getting diseases which are things that are going to affect their futures in some type of way. For all teens that want to engage in sexual activity because they can't wait until they are older, they should at least have sex responsibility. Being responsible includes using condoms and not having sex with a lot of people. When you do thing's like this of course your rates for pregnancy and std's will increase. So teenagers are becoming more and more pregnant mainly because they don't care about what they are doing and they aren't being responsible They aren't thinking about their future and how their action now may affect them in the future. Many teens don't even know what they are doing because they aren't even mature enough yet.

Teens are in a stage were they want to become independent and they do things to gain freedom from parents, and become their own person. Some teenage girls see having a baby is a good way to show how they are responsible and they don’t need that much help from parents. Although when its time from them to go back to school who has to watch your so called ‘freedom baby”, your parents. Teenage girls have to know that education is the key to success because without education they may get far in life, but not as far as they should have. Though too many babies are being born to teenage mothers, they help some mothers realize how that one night of not listening and being careless can change your whole life completely. If parents get involved in their teen’s lives more, then they would be able to talk to their child and tell them right from wrong. Then teens would think twice before they get themselves into something that their not ready for. The final reason teens are more sexual active is because of the media. The media shows a lot of sexual themes with women always being lower than men. That’s how women have been looked at for a very long time. They are looked at as a sex symbol. You always see them in music videos and movies. Teenager girls can become brainwashed by what they see on their television. They feel that their going to be like that no matter what happens to them. If more school have discussions about sex and the effect it could have on a person then probably less teens would become less sexual active. If schools let parents know about the vase amount of teenagers that are having sex at such an early age.

Some girls also want to have sex at a young age so that they can have a child to love and hold. They want someone who will always be there with them and never leave their side. Usually this need for comfort is due to abandonment issues. That is no reason to go out and have a baby. It also has to do with the parents, if the parents aren’t around monitoring the children they will go out and do whatever they please. No supervision is an immediate sign of danger. Your child can get away with so much if you are not there to watch over them and guide. Children need guidance in their life and without that they will be running around without knowing which direction to go in. I am thankful for all the advice my mother has put in my head. To be smart and wise. Some kids don’t have that and that could come in very handy. Most kids have parents that have been in the same predicament as them. So the children think that it is okay to follow in that sort of lifestyle. It is not okay and it could lead to very serious consequences down the line. I think it is very selfish to bring a child into the world if you are not prepared to take care of it. How are you going to provide for yourself and your child? Do you have a job that you can use to support that child? I don’t think so. Just ladies in the future be wise and don’t make dumb mistakes that can cost you so much.

Schools are trying to prevent the spread of many STDs like herpes or syphilis. By trying to prevent the spread of these diseases, they are actually promoting sex. When the girls get the condoms, they feel that it is ok to have sex when they are given condoms. In my opinion, it’s like handing a person a key that is standing in front of a locked door. Before receiving the key, the person had to wait five years to open the door. When given the key, while standing in front of the door, many are tempted to see what’s behind it. Receiving the key, or condom, is almost like a subtle way of saying that these teenage girls can have sex. One last reason why many teenage girls are having sex is because of low self-esteem. It is very important for sex education to be taught to teenagers because it can serves as an answer to their problems. Teenagers who are not sure about having sex or want to be more aware of the true facts that surrounds it can be more acquainted. Several teenagers indulge in early sexual behavior due to peer pressure. Teenagers growing in largely promiscuous societies tend to date far earlier than others in slightly more conventional setups. This is due to the fact that they feel the great need to be 'cool' and 'accepted' by their circle of friends. The only way they could probably achieve that would be by having a boyfriend or girlfriend or at least by dating and indulging in sexual acts often. This kind of rash behavior could lead to unintended pregnancies.
Teenage girls are sexually active under influence. They either see close friends or family that are active sexually or in media. Media send a negative example towards being sexually active. Female Rappers of the present time only speak on sex. As well as ingonorant male artists. Another reason for the increasing teenage sex rate is Peer Pressure. Boys are able to pursuade Girls easier than in the past. One simple phrase will pursuade the teenage girl.
Younger Teens with older sisters or brothers are influenced by their older siblings. If they see that their older siblings are sexuall active and pregnant they feel they should be able to do it to. Another reason for increasing teen sex rates is Parental Neglect. When a Child doesnt have any support or discipline they search for attention. If getting attention means having sex then thats exactly what they will do. They have sex because if their parents arent giving them any attention and telling them that they shouldnt have sex then they feel its okay for them to have sex. Teenagers want to feel accepted they think they have to do certain things to be accepted with the in-crowd.
Many teenagers fall for men who are not their age. These men are predators to the young teen. They force the team into becoming sexually active after they push them into a relationship with them. When a teenager recieves attention from a grown man they feel the need to do whatever this MAN says. Some men give the young girl money and buy them many things making them want to still be involved with them sexually.
More and more teens have become involved in alchohol and drug use. When they are high or drunk they are easily forced to do things with one or more boys that they may or may not know.
There are many things that can pursuade the young teenage girl into being sexually active and then becoming pregnant. Once she becomes pregnant her life is ruined although she is blessed with a child. She now cannot go to school freely. They have to find baby sitters and child care and there is a possibility that the father who is either too old or not old enough or is unknown will not be involved in the childs life.
If you are not ready for the responsibilities and the effects of being a teenage mother than you should be a teenager who is sexually active. Dont Have Kids with Kids.
Marvin Clarke Girls between the ages of 13 to 16 are being more and more involved in sexually activity because they are curious to find out how it feels but they do not know the dangers of have sex. The girls just see someone they like, get to go out with that person, when the boy tell the girl that they love her then that’s when they have the sex. Sometimes the boys force the girls and tell them things that they want to hear just to have the sex without using a condom to protect themselves from getting Aids/HIV. Sometimes girls get pressured by other girls that had sex and they have sex with the first person they seen just to fit in with the crowd. That does not make any sense to me because why would you have sex just to fit in, sex is suppose to be a something that you do with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and to make a baby with and why would you believe that this boy loves you just because he said it out of his mouth he has to be true to his word before he says he loves you, when he says he loves he probably does not mean it and just want to fit in and tell his friends that he had sex with you so he can earn respect from them but he is really not. Other times girls want to have sex because they want to prove that they are maturing and have sex is the second way of her showing that maturity, also they have sex to have a child because they think it is fun but it is a hard task to carryout because you have to go to school and care for the baby with no job to support the child and the life she once knew would be out the window and the boy that she had the baby with would not take his reasonability for the child and leave the girl alone with a baby to raise on their own. There are many reasons why girls ages 13 to 16 get more and more sexually active and that is there own reason but the reasons I present here is just my reason and my opinion on this topic.
Each year more teenage girls are getting pregnant and girls from the ages of 13- 16 are becoming more and more sexually active. I believe that the reason for this is because society has changed a lot from when our parents were young and more things are being accepted. I believe that many teenagers feel like they are grown and they want to act like it by acting like adults and doing adult things. Our society no longer teaches girls that they have to respect themselves and not do certain things, such as having sex. Our society has become very sexual and teenagers pick up on this. We are taught that when we are teenagers our hormones are raging and in a culture and place that is very sexual many teenagers will act on these impulses that they have. The music that is produced and given to our public are from adults, however many teenagers listen to this music. Most of these songs are about, love, sex, money and drugs. Though it might be appropriate for an adult to do these things and feel certain ways, it’s simply not okay for a teenager. Hence, if a teenager listens to something enough and like what they here; it is very possible that they will act on these things. Another thing that might cause teenage girls to have sex is the belief that everyone is doing it. Things that might go through a teenage girls mind that is not having sex is “am I ugly?” “What’s wrong with me?” And not “I have respect for myself” and “I don’t need a guy to make me feel special.” Some girls even boast about having sex and talk about how much their boyfriends love them but in a week they are crying, don’t know what to do and completely depressed. I honestly don’t believe that teenagers are ready for sex because most likely if you have sex you’re going to feel grown and just because someone has ex definitely doesn’t mean their grown. Some girls even think that the only way to get a boy you really like is by being sexual and that’s the only way he will be nice to you and care about you. My advice is to keep your legs close and not listen to people. At the end of the day you are by yourself and you’re going to want to be proud of yourself when you look in the mirror.

ReplyDeleteOne reason is that teens might go through problems at home such as family issues. Most parents today are single parents or their parents have got a divorce. The child may not feel love by their parents and they find love in the wrong places in this case sexual activities. That teen might feel lonely and this can lead to two things. Those two things are having sexual intercourse and/or trying to become pregnant. In my opinion, I don't think teens should have sex until they are about 18 years old because there is many risks and danger having sex at a young age. A teen is making a big mistake having sex because teens can get a STD, pregnant, and might regret having sex with the person. This are things that if you have an education and an adult, you have a better way dealing with these problems.
Another reason is that teens might be in "love" with their partner and decide to have sex with their partner have said, "If you love me, you will have sex with me." This is such a lie to me because they just use the girl/boy just to brag about it to their friends or just to get something. Teens think they are really in "love" and find out the hard way that the person didn't love them. It's a hard lesson to get however, teens need to know.
The last reason is that teens want to build their self-esteem or get attention that they don't receive from their friends, family, etc. They may feel that they are not good enough for anybody so they look for love in the wrong places. Also, they may want to love somebody which can be the person they are having sex with or a child.
In conclusion, more teens are become sexually active and ending up being pregnant. There are many reason which include their partner wanting to have sex with them because the teen "love" them, self-esteem issues, and family issues. There are many more reasons why teens want to have sex. I'm not saying it bad for teens to have sex, however, they need to know the results from having sex if they are really ready. It's up to the teenager decision and I hope they make the right choice.

The outcome of this is that they drop out of school, give the baby up for adoption, or struggle to take care of their child. I believe that no one is taking the time out to talk to these young girls about sex and how it can be very dangerous in your life. But most young girls want to do what they feel like doing because they are so grown and nasty little girls. Some people out there that make organizations or help out at clinics for young teenage mothers are doing the right thing to help guide the young girls about early motherhood. It’s a big responsibility and they need to learn more about it, if they want to disobey their parents and become sexually active and they don’t use protection then that you have to raise your child on your own.

I can’t really say why girls are becoming more and more sexually active because everyone has there own reasons. But I believe that most teenage girls are more sexually active because of peer pressure, attention, influence of drugs, wanting to feel grown up, and the images portrayed today. Like if boys want to get a girl they would easy play the guilt card to make them feel like they have too. Or even friends could say your lame because you haven’t done it yet and that makes you wonder. Other girls have sex for the attention, to feel wanted by boys and to feel “loved” because they’ve been through so much in life and their looking for a way out. Influence of drugs is a big one, drugs make ones mind unstable and with females they become vulnerable and easy to take advantage of. Girls feel the need to grow up fast and sex comes with that. They want to attract older men, and feel more mature. Some even feel like there ready to have kids and fall in love fast when in relationship with boys. Lastly, images today of girls being sex symbols and earning money and fame for it is like a calling and persuasion to young girls who are looking to have more attention. For instance Lil Kim slept her way to the top which made it look okay to young females to get what they wanted or to succeed. So many things these ideas and more could be the reason for this epidemic. It’s all based on the person.

Many kids these days do things to fit in with others although it may be the wrong crowd to try and fit in with they attempt to anyways. Sex to younger people is something considered "cool" just like smoking,drinking, etc. In this day and age alot of teenagers believe they know whats right versus their elders and so they practice what they want.

Atleast not enough notice to reach out to the youth. I believe also that there are so many pregnant teens due to the lack of guidance from the adults in their lives. I surely don't know why teens have sex at this age. Maybe its because parenting is different and they really don't have time to look after their kids. Or some girls dont think they find love at home so they go to all extents to find it and this includes sexual activity. Some girls may just have sex because they think they are in love with their boyfriends and are just convinced that it's the right thing to do to have sex with someone you love. Many of the teens of this generation are facing things like parental neglect, child abuse, sexual abuse, and the factor of not having parents at all. Low self esteem is caused by these factors. When their self esteem is low, young women between the ages of 13 and 16 believe that it takes another person to prove their worth or give them the attention they lack. Often times this other person, is a boy. Young women turn to boys to make them feel good about themselves. When having all the material things does not compensate them, girls rely on sex to give them somewhat of a high to their low self esteem. Low self esteem causes people, especially young girls to believe that everyone can see their flaws, and that everyone is against them. When faced with the possibility of being ostracized because of a flaw, girls want to erase that flaw. If the flaw that everyone around her seems to think that being a virgin is a flaw, then that girl will lose her virginity.

Although peer pressure ties into low self esteem when it comes to teenage pregnancies and underage sex, it is also its own factor. Often times, the low self esteem of a girl can make her so vulnerable, she will be willing to do anything to raise her self esteem. This vulnerability makes her a primary target for pressured sex. A boy will see that her guard is down, and pressure her into sex. Chances are she will live to regret it, but she was still pressured into it. Parental neglect is another contributing factor to underage sex and teenage pregnancy. When teens don’t get the attention they need at home from their parents, they seek attention from somewhere else. The attention they receive results in most of the time a pregnancy, or regret. Parents are not be enforcing rules, and restricting their children from certain things. When the rules are not enforced, and there are no restrictions, then teens will believe that they can do whatever they want.
The pregnancies are always a result of not being careful; the regrets come from bad decisions. If parents will take their place and start enforcing the rules, maybe teens will know the difference between right and wrong. Parents should step in not only to enforce rules, but to make sure their children know how special they are. Worth should only be proven by oneself.

I also believe that this is a new generation and no one can stop any of us (teens) from being sexually active, but what you do have to teach them is if you’re going to do something you must always use protection. But because this is a new generation more things are coming out and provoking teens into doing adult things, and not just sex, but drugs also. The best thing you can do to prevent a child from getting pregnant is talk to them, because you never know the reason of them not using protection, or how they got pregnant. It can be from the problems at home to the situations (like bullying) inside school or event the neighborhood. The worse thing to do is tell them don’t have sex and it’s a bad thing because they would probably want to go out and experience it for themselves. So The best way for you to talk to the youth is providing for them, but tell them at the same time you’re not giving them the okay to do so. You just want them to be safe.

Also, teenage life is getting more and more boring so new experiences and activities young adults tend to look at and try. To make them either happier, forfill a emptiness they have, or they just do it for the fun and to see how it is. Lastly, many parents can become a big part in this question. With parents not giving their children a lot of attention and trusting them to make smart decisions, they don't seem to nip these things in the butt to much. Girls not caring but not caring so much that they are not being smart with what they are doing at the same time. This goes for teenage girls who now have sexually transmitted diseases. They aren't being responsible at all. It's one thing for teens between the ages 13 and 16 to be engaging in sexual activity but it's a whole another step and level when they are getting pregnant and getting diseases which are things that are going to affect their futures in some type of way. For all teens that want to engage in sexual activity because they can't wait until they are older, they should at least have sex responsibility. Being responsible includes using condoms and not having sex with a lot of people. When you do thing's like this of course your rates for pregnancy and std's will increase. So teenagers are becoming more and more pregnant mainly because they don't care about what they are doing and they aren't being responsible They aren't thinking about their future and how their action now may affect them in the future. Many teens don't even know what they are doing because they aren't even mature enough yet.

The people around them could be pressuring them into having sex, because it is so called “un-cool” to be a virgin. Whoever is curious sexually will have sex, but I would think they would make sure they think logically. If a girl feels that she is in love she may feel obligated to have intercourse, or she may willingly do it because she feels she’s in love. There are simple reasons for teenage girls to have sex; they might just want to have sex. The only thing you can do for a girl in any of the predicaments is to give them advice to make sure they do not get pregnant. However in the end the person will make the decision by themselves. A lot of the times teenage pregnancy happens by an accident. The contraceptive could have not worked correctly and fertilization could have accidentally happened. A few years ago a conspiracy had taken place when girls made a pact to get pregnant at the same time. They were stupid, and they did it for stupid reasons, such as to make their boyfriends stay with them (insecure love) and because they wanted to follow their idol. In my opinion these girls were desperate, and so naïve. Pregnancy is no joke and criticism is not needed, but help and advice is. Another reason for the sexually active epidemic is the influence of the media. Sex sells so it has a way of putting ideas into people’s minds. Television shows, movies and music videos are usually based around sex in some way because marketers know that sex sells. These programs usually make sexual references or show sometimes mild or graphic sex scenes. This affects the youth because the stars of these programs are some children’s idols and they aspire to imitate all of their actions which can sometimes lead to sex and pregnancy. Some famous actors, musicians and others icons try to counteract this with safe sex campaigns but their efforts are overshadowed by the actions of others. Another reason these young girls are becoming pregnant is because of pure pressure from their boyfriends. Although some girls may not be ready to have sex they still engage in it with their beau because the lead them to believe that sex is what people who are in love or in a relationship do. Hearing things like this from the person you believe you can always trust and having sex with them can lead to the girl becoming pregnant. A girl is usually most gullible when she is in a relationship because she thinks that her beau cares deeply about her and her feelings but that is not the case these days because most young men are just looking out for themselves. Females do not think the same way as males so they are sometimes tricked into having sex or they do it willingly without protection causing them to become pregnant. Young men play a major role and should receive equal responsibility for the young females that are becoming pregnant because they sometimes choose not to use condoms. If more young men used condoms and more females spoke up when they did not less girls would be pregnant. Today’s youth do not think enough about how their actions will affect them later on that is why they do things that they know are wrong sometimes. Both females and males know that the use of condoms significantly lessens the chance of the female becoming pregnant but they choose not to use if sometimes because they like to live in the moment. If so many girls stopped following the wrong examples, and allowing their boyfriends to make decisions for them a lot of them would not be pregnant.

The more we go into the future is the more things change. Different generations will always have different behaviors and that’s the way it will always be. Another reason for more teenagers being sexually active is because of TV. TV has always had some negative effects on kids. So when kids see things on TV sometimes they want to imitate it. But some of that is because of parents. If parents have better control of what kids watch then I guarantee that in the future the number of teen pregnancy would go down. Some of the responsibility is on the parents. Parents should put a parental lock if they don’t want their kids to watch certain things. Another reason is because I think these days’ people are more relaxed with the idea with teenage sex. They give out condoms promoting the idea to do it. When they give out condoms kids will think its ok because they were given to them. Another big reason is because of hormones. Kids these cant seem to control their hormones so they cannot control their actions. So these are a main reason that a lot of teens get pregnant. Also a reason is for teen pregnancy is because a lot more teens are doing more and more drugs and alcohol. People are not able to control their actions when there drunk or high and cant even think. Most teen these days don’t worry about there future they just live for the moment. And they also do it to fit in with there friends. This is due to the fact that they feel the great need to be 'cool' and 'accepted' by their circle of friends. The only way they could probably achieve that would be by having a boyfriend or girlfriend or at least by dating and indulging in sexual acts often. This kind of rash behavior could lead to unintended pregnancies.
I believe that girls between the ages of 13 and 16 are becoming more and more sexually active because this seems to be a stage that teenagers are in. Having sex has become more popular just like new songs, clothes, etc. I believe that teenage girls are becoming pregnant because they are being put under peer pressure from their girlfriends and bf. The teenage girls are being told all kinds of things from their friends who have experienced this. For example some may say it’s the best experience you will ever have or its unlike any feeling you have ever had. To some girls this may be true and to those who believe this end up have to take care a baby with no help from the father, who ran out of their lives. Its hard for parents, family friends, etc to tell teens not to have sex during this time but the fact of the matter is the best thing for them to tell their teens is to make sure you are always protected. Having protection is the best stop to teenage girls becoming pregnant. Teens are in a stage were they want to become independent and they do things to gain freedom from parents, and become their own person. Some teenage girls see having a baby is a good way to show how they are responsible and they don’t need that much help from parents. Although when its time from them to go back to school who has to watch your so called ‘freedom baby”, your parents. Teenage girls have to know that education is the key to success because without education they may get far in life, but not as far as they should have. Though too many babies are being born to teenage mothers, they help some mothers realize how that one night of not listening and being careless can change your whole life completely. I feel that the number of teenage pregnancies will begin to decrease over the years, because teenage girls will start to smarten up and realize they have enough time in life to fulfill their dreams and then worry about having babies.

ReplyDeleteThe reason why teenager girls are becoming more sexually active is because of peer pressure. There’s a lot of teens having sex now and days than any other generation, and because of that teenagers feel like it’s a normal to have sex because everyone is doing it. There friends tell them so many things about sex they become to feel like they an outsider by not doing it. When teenagers rush to have sex, that’s when they become pregnant. They become pregnant because their not very educated about sex. Like how to use a condom properly, and the does and don’ts about sex.
Another huge reason teens are becoming more sexual active is because of their parents. When teens are doing adult things, it’s most likely that their parents don’t really care for them. With parents not being a part of a teen’s life, teens will do what ever they want without thinking. Parents play a huge role in teens being sexual active. They have the power to stop it. If parents get involved in their teen’s lives more, then they would be able to talk to their child and tell them right from wrong. Then teens would think twice before they get themselves into something that their not ready for.
The final reason teens are more sexual active is because of the media. The media shows a lot of sexual themes with women always being lower than men. That’s how women have been looked at for a very long time. They are looked at as a sex symbol. You always see them in music videos and movies. Teenager girls can become brainwashed by what they see on their television. They feel that their going to be like that no matter what happens to them.
If more school have discussions about sex and the effect it could have on a person then probably less teens would become less sexual active. If schools let parents know about the vase amount of teenagers that are having sex at such an early age.
The reason young girls are getting pregnant at such fast rates can be blamed on many things. Like for instance it can be due to curiosity. Young girls may have many ideas about sex and instead of talking about these ideas with an adult they just find a way to go out and express their curiosity. There is no reason that these girls should be experimenting with sex in such a dangerous manner. So many things can go round. The risk of getting an sexually transmitted infection or a sexually transmitted disease is higher than it was before. I’m guessing that would be due to the fact that young girls weren’t having premarital sex at such alarming rates. Some girls also want to have sex at a young age so that they can have a child to love and hold. They want someone who will always be there with them and never leave their side. Usually this need for comfort is due to abandonment issues. That is no reason to go out and have a baby. It also has to do with the parents, if the parents aren’t around monitoring the children they will go out and do whatever they please. No supervision is an immediate sign of danger. Your child can get away with so much if you are not there to watch over them and guide. Children need guidance in their life and without that they will be running around without knowing which direction to go in. I am thankful for all the advice my mother has put in my head. To be smart and wise. Some kids don’t have that and that could come in very handy. Most kids have parents that have been in the same predicament as them. So the children think that it is okay to follow in that sort of lifestyle. It is not okay and it could lead to very serious consequences down the line. I think it is very selfish to bring a child into the world if you are not prepared to take care of it. How are you going to provide for yourself and your child? Do you have a job that you can use to support that child? I don’t think so. Just ladies in the future be wise and don’t make dumb mistakes that can cost you so much.

ReplyDeleteOne reason that teenage girls are sexually active is because of things they see on television. In my opinion, television producers take the saying “sex sells to an extreme”. Many new R & B or Hip-Hop music videos surround half naked women or men and women in a position about to have sex. Music videos are exposed to everybody, especially girls around these ages. Because of these music videos has this type of things inside of it, girls feel that it is ok to dress and actually have sex like the girls on the music video.
Another reason why teenage girls are having sex at these ages is because schools actually encourage them to do so. Schools give condoms out in school to children. Schools are trying to prevent the spread of many STDs like herpes or syphilis. By trying to prevent the spread of these diseases, they are actually promoting sex. When the girls get the condoms, they feel that it is ok to have sex when they are given condoms. In my opinion, it’s like handing a person a key that is standing in front of a locked door. Before receiving the key, the person had to wait five years to open the door. When given the key, while standing in front of the door, many are tempted to see what’s behind it. Receiving the key, or condom, is almost like a subtle way of saying that these teenage girls can have sex.
One last reason why many teenage girls are having sex is because of low self-esteem. Most girls today have low self-esteem because of peer pressure or because of how society defines beauty. Most people say that beauty involves specific features and sometimes many girls do not have these features and feel bad about them selves. These girls feel better about them selves when they have sex because it makes them have a feel that some one wants them.

Conceding the fact that teenage pregnancy interrupts school performances and other future plans, teenage girls often try to avoid getting pregnant. However, for some it is more difficult to avoid than others. Teenage girls with difficulties overcoming teenage pregnancy frequently experience negativity from society which constrained them into following the wrong crowd and doing the wrong things. Oftentimes teenage girls who became pregnant underwent negative influence in their household either from parents or other siblings, had little knowledge about safe sex, or encountered peer pressure from other friends they were associated with.
Research studies evidently show that a child who is raised in a household where violence and disagreements are conducted on a regular basis is likely to do poor in school, join gangs, do drugs, or become pregnant than a child who is in a stable home where family members are cooperative, compassionate, and reliable to each other. A teenage girl who lives in a negative influential household is likely to become pregnant because she follows the examples shown by the people around her and commits atrocities. Knowing that she will not get in trouble or be disciplined, she will go ahead, have sexual intercourse and likely become pregnant.
The lack of education on safe sex from parents, schools, or otherwise, is a major cause of teenage pregnancy. Most teenagers who are unaware of safe sex and the negative effects of unprotected sex are likely to become sexually active. Their unsafe sexually activity will lead to pregnancy or diseases like HIV,AIDS, gonorrhea, or chlamydia. It is very important for sex education to be taught to teenagers because it can serves as an answer to their problems. Teenagers who are not sure about having sex or want to be more aware of the true facts that surrounds it can be more acquainted.

Female Rappers of the present time only speak on sex. As well as ingonorant male artists. Another reason for the increasing teenage sex rate is Peer Pressure. Boys are able to pursuade Girls easier than in the past. One simple phrase will pursuade the teenage girl.

If they see that their older siblings are sexuall active and pregnant they feel they should be able to do it to. Another reason for increasing teen sex rates is Parental Neglect. When a Child doesnt have any support or discipline they search for attention. If getting attention means having sex then thats exactly what they will do. They have sex because if their parents arent giving them any attention and telling them that they shouldnt have sex then they feel its okay for them to have sex. Teenagers want to feel accepted they think they have to do certain things to be accepted with the in-crowd.
Many teenagers fall for men who are not their age. These men are predators to the young teen. They force the team into becoming sexually active after they push them into a relationship with them. When a teenager recieves attention from a grown man they feel the need to do whatever this MAN says. Some men give the young girl money and buy them many things making them want to still be involved with them sexually.
More and more teens have become involved in alchohol and drug use. When they are high or drunk they are easily forced to do things with one or more boys that they may or may not know.
There are many things that can pursuade the young teenage girl into being sexually active and then becoming pregnant. Once she becomes pregnant her life is ruined although she is blessed with a child. She now cannot go to school freely. They have to find baby sitters and child care and there is a possibility that the father who is either too old or not old enough or is unknown will not be involved in the childs life.
If you are not ready for the responsibilities and the effects of being a teenage mother than you should be a teenager who is sexually active.

The girls just see someone they like, get to go out with that person, when the boy tell the girl that they love her then that’s when they have the sex. Sometimes the boys force the girls and tell them things that they want to hear just to have the sex without using a condom to protect themselves from getting Aids/HIV. Sometimes girls get pressured by other girls that had sex and they have sex with the first person they seen just to fit in with the crowd. That does not make any sense to me because why would you have sex just to fit in, sex is suppose to be a something that you do with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and to make a baby with and why would you believe that this boy loves you just because he said it out of his mouth he has to be true to his word before he says he loves you, when he says he loves he probably does not mean it and just want to fit in and tell his friends that he had sex with you so he can earn respect from them but he is really not. Other times girls want to have sex because they want to prove that they are maturing and have sex is the second way of her showing that maturity, also they have sex to have a child because they think it is fun but it is a hard task to carryout because you have to go to school and care for the baby with no job to support the child and the life she once knew would be out the window and the boy that she had the baby with would not take his reasonability for the child and leave the girl alone with a baby to raise on their own. There are many reasons why girls ages 13 to 16 get more and more sexually active and that is there own reason but the reasons I present here is just my reason and my opinion on this topic.
Each year more teenage girls are getting pregnant and girls from the ages of 13- 16 are becoming more and more sexually active. I believe that the reason for this is because society has changed a lot from when our parents were young and more things are being accepted. I believe that many teenagers feel like they are grown and they want to act like it by acting like adults and doing adult things. Our society no longer teaches girls that they have to respect themselves and not do certain things, such as having sex. Our society has become very sexual and teenagers pick up on this. We are taught that when we are teenagers our hormones are raging and in a culture and place that is very sexual many teenagers will act on these impulses that they have. The music that is produced and given to our public are from adults, however many teenagers listen to this music. Most of these songs are about, love, sex, money and drugs. Though it might be appropriate for an adult to do these things and feel certain ways, it’s simply not okay for a teenager. Hence, if a teenager listens to something enough and like what they here; it is very possible that they will act on these things. Another thing that might cause teenage girls to have sex is the belief that everyone is doing it. Things that might go through a teenage girls mind that is not having sex is “am I ugly?” “What’s wrong with me?” And not “I have respect for myself” and “I don’t need a guy to make me feel special.” Some girls even boast about having sex and talk about how much their boyfriends love them but in a week they are crying, don’t know what to do and completely depressed. I honestly don’t believe that teenagers are ready for sex because most likely if you have sex you’re going to feel grown and just because someone has ex definitely doesn’t mean their grown. Some girls even think that the only way to get a boy you really like is by being sexual and that’s the only way he will be nice to you and care about you. My advice is to keep your legs close and not listen to people. At the end of the day you are by yourself and you’re going to want to be proud of yourself when you look in the mirror.

I think as more and more teens become pregnant the end result would be abortion because the teens do not want to deal with the choices that they've made.
